Kroot Name Generator
Warhammer 40K-Inspired Names for Hunters, Shapers, Warbands, Stalkers, and Elders
Use this Kroot Name Generator when you need names that sound tribal, predatory, and practical in play. Each style uses a different naming pattern so a hunter does not read like an elder, and a warband name does not read like a single character.

Naming Conventions and Usage Tips
This generator is designed for Kroot-style naming in Warhammer 40K-inspired play. Instead of one mixed pool, it uses different construction logic per subtype so outputs feel role-specific at the table.
Naming Modes
hunter: 1-2 syllable burst names with k/p/t/s-heavy endingsshaper: mandatory apostrophe pattern with gh/kh throat soundswarband: fighter-style full names such as[name] the [feeding epithet]or[name] of the [gully/terrain]stalker: quieter, stealth-leaning cadence with occasional trail-style epithetselder: long-vowel, steadier cadence for old and high-status figures
Practical Use
- Choose subtype first based on role in your roster or story.
- Generate 10 and keep the names that are easiest to say aloud.
- Reuse one subtype for one unit family to keep faction identity consistent.
This is an independent fan-made naming tool and is not an official Warhammer product.
